Captain Roberto Sandez has been with Pisces for 37 years and fishes over 300 days a year, so he has plenty of experience. He is a mild mannered, gentleman, very kind and above all an excellent fisherman. He has a quiet personality but makes you feel welcome. One of his best fishing days ever was when he caught a black marlin, two blue marlin, a striped marlin and a sailfish all in one day. Both Roberto and his deckhand Salvador speak some English. They work really well together as a team. In early 2008 Roberto was awarded Top Captain for most striped marlin released worldwide in the Pacific during 2007 by The Billfish Foundation.
